Early Morning Flight

Dragonfly like wings shimmer through the early morning sun. They fly cautiously. The little faeries dance under the sun on their way to the Great Falls. Tiny buckets made of acorns with grass handles dangle below as they fly through the air. A tiny young faerie charges ahead. The others chatter and flap their wings to stop the young faerie.  The little faerie races on into the rushing waterfall. Only to be swept up by the rushing water. The others race into action. They find the young faerie that is quit alive sitting on the back of an annoyed turtle.

Beautiful description, reading like a poem. Love the last line: "is quite alive sitting on the back of an annoyed turtle".

Beautiful prose creating romantic imagery of the young dancing faerie. I love it

This is quite cute and imaginative. I can only imagine just how annoyed the turtle was with the impetuous faerie. Surely, it must have been a young faerie feeling his oats. Hopefully he( it had to be a boy, because only boys are that reckless ), has learned his lesson. Muwah!!@@

I'm a huge fan of this sort of imagery. Thank you for sharing.
