In a 100 words no more or less, here is my 73rd Flasher Fiction Friday. Look to this link to read other great Flasher Fiction posts from great writers. Flasher Fiction Friday

Mirror World

Aria stares into her mirror and notices it looks different. She places her hand on the glass and her hand disappears. Scared yet curious she grabs a lantern and carefully steps through her looking glass. Aria feels her body flow through, but emerges free into an empty room. Frightened she turns to go back but the mirror is now solid. She looks around to find herself in a new world. She holds the lantern tightly. Aria notices this strange world is different than her own. There are no pink skies or blue grass, no yellow trees in this strange world.

I love this, and I'm with her as she realizes things are so different.

How frightening for her, but a great set up for a fantasy.
