The Elven Sacrifice

Exhausted Laria sits upon one of the many stone pillars. Wings aching and sore, hanging her head low she weeps. She looks around the rows upon rows of stone cold pillars. Laria has spent days dancing on each one. Her prison until she has danced on each one. Her captors watch in aww of her performance, then leave her in the misty darkness. She knew this would be her future. Otherwise, her village and family would have been destroyed. She gave herself to save them. A lonely sacrifice, forever alone…until her long awaited mate will someday come to her rescue.

Oh, Aurora, how sad and moving. At least you left us with hope. Beautiful. xo

Sad, I hope someday she will be rescued. What a suffering way to go.
